Mathematics of Juggling

Abstract:Several juggling patterns can be very precisely represented using
sequences of numbers. We will demonstrate how jugglers use numbers to describe
juggling patterns. Not all sequences of numbers give valid juggling sequences.
The condition determining whether a sequence is a valid juggling sequence
turns out to be connected to a combinatorial problem in group theory. Apart from
this connection, we will also discuss some other combinatorial results on juggling
                sequences in this talk.
