Rules


  • A participant should be a student enrolled in an educational institution.
  • This will be an INDIVIDUAL event.
  • There will be TWO rounds in the contest.

Registration


  • To register send a mail to iisc.open13.coding@gmail.com with the subject as Onsite Programming Contest Registration containing your name, college name, and email id.
  • Kindly use the following format in your mails as automatic scripts will parse your mails.

  • You have to conform your registration before 1 hour of event's start time on the day of event at CSA department.
  • Even if you have not registered for the event by sending mail, You can register for the event before 1 hour of event's start time on the day of event at CSA department. But it is recommended that you do registration by sending mail so that we have your information already and can notify you about the event news/updates.

Qualification Round


  • This will be a written round.
  • Questions will be based on only ANSI C language.
  • There will be around 50 questions.
  • Most questions will be of Multiple Choice Question/Objective type.
  • There may be 2-3 question whose answer will be single line answer.
  • This round will be of 1 hour duration.
  • Around 15 participants will be qualified for the final round.

Final Round


  • This will be a coding round.
  • You will be given a set of 4 - 5 problems.
  • You have to solve the problems using ANSI C language (gcc).
  • The input / output will be in ACM ICPC format.
  • Your program should be a single threaded program.
  • This round will be of 3 hours duration.
  • You will be provided the necessary resources including system.
  • The decision of judges will be final and binding.
  • There will be a time-limit (e.g. 2 - 10 seconds) on the execution time of the submitted solution.

Prizes


Prizes worth Rs. 4000 for the winner and Rs. 2000 for the runner up.
