Confident enough on your coding skills that you can bet on it ?
Experience the thrill of a live Casino, saving your trip to Las Vegas. It will be a team contest(team of 2) involving virtual money testing your coding as well as bidding skills..:-D.

Contest Format

  1. Contest will begin with each team given a base amount in their pocket.

  2. There will be 3 question pools based on difficulty. Pool 1 with minimum and Pool 3 with maximum difficulty.

  3. Pool 3 questions will have higher points than Pool 1 and 2. Points on questions within same pool might vary as well.

  4. Teams will have to bid and solve the question of their choice from pool 1. Money will be doubled if they solve the problem, otherwise their bid money on that question will lapse.

  5. Once you solve one question from Pool 1 correctly, you can now bid on any question from Pool 1 or Pool 2. Similarly once you solve one question from Pool 2 correctly, you can now bid on any question from Pool 1,2 or 3.

  6. Questions will be algorithmic, data structure based and mathematical. Can be solved in your preferred coding language

  7. Bidding amount on each question will be fixed by the judges in advance.

  8. It is compulsory to bid on a question before solving it. No points will be awarded if you solve a question without bidding on it.

Time

This is an on-site contest to be held in the morning of 29th Feb, 2020 – 9.00 am at the Department of Computer Science and Automation, IISc Bangalore.
Duration: 3 hours.

Rules

  1. Online registration is mandatory. Limited seats (first come first serve basis)

  2. The participant should be a student enrolled in an educational institution (school or college).

  3. This is a team event. You need to register as a 2 member team. One member can also register, but at the time of competition, you will be clubbed with some other member who has registered as single-member. IF not available, you will be allowed to participate as a single member of the team.

  4. To compete you need a laptop with internet access

  5. You can familiarize yourself with the interface by trying a few practice problems <link will be updated soon>.

  6. The platform supports 40+ programming languages. For more information, please visit the Judge.

  7. In case of a tie, the decision of the judges will be final.

  8. Everyone has to carry their Institute ID Cards.
