Algorithmic Frontiers of Fairness @ FSTTCS 2023
Generously Supported by a Walmart CSR grant.
December 16 and 17, 2023. IIIT Hyderabad.
In times when many socially-sensitive decisions are being automated, it is essential to provide solutions with rigorous fairness guarantees. A principled approach to fairness enables us to quantify the performance of the deployed algorithms along well-defined fairness constructs. Indeed, such an exercise is crucial for its scientific merits and for real-world deployments, which are increasingly required to uphold legal regulations and be explainable. Motivated by such considerations, the objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers actively working on Algorithmic Aspects of Fairness and to present recent advances in this filed.
The workshop will focus, in particular, on questions related to Fair Division.
