Swagatham 2019

 

  • Greetings from the Department of Computer Science & Automation (CSA) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru!
  • At the outset, congratulations on your fine performance in GATE, and your excellent scholastic record. We are extremely pleased that you have chosen to apply to the MTech program at CSA!
  • For a first-hand experience of CSA and all that it has to offer, we would like to provide GATE top rankers like yourself, an exclusive opportunity to visit our campus.
  • Accordingly, we have set up a program called Swagatham, scheduled for April 14th and 15th, wherein you will be treated to a variety of presentations from department faculty, students, and alumni. There will also be ample scope for informal interactions, enabling you to gain an informed sense of the pulse of the department.
  • The program will be held in two sessions, 14th (evening) and 15th (morning).
  • We will gladly reimburse your travel costs incurred for Swagatham, based on actuals, up to a maximum of INR 15,000/- and we will also take care of your accommodation here for 2 nights (either 13/14 April or 14/15 April).

Important Notes:

  1. Swagatham is only a familiarization program and does NOT constitute an offer of admission.
  2. Swagatham program is by INVITATION only. You will be able to attend Swagatham ONLY if you have received an invitation email from us directly.
  3. Kindly do not forward the invitation emails to your friends as eventually they will be filtered out.
  4. The travel reimbursement and provision of accommodation is restricted to the student invitees. Any accompanying family members will have to make their own arrangements, pointers for which are available in FAQ.
