  1. Who can attend the summer school?

    The summer school is open only for second and third year undergraduate students in Computer Science/Information Sciences.

  2. What is the deadline for registration?

    The registration for the summer school closed on 05-March-2013.

  3. When will the list of selected candidates be announced?

    The first list of selected candidates has been finalised and all the selected candidates have been informed through e-mail on April 15, 2013. The wait-listed candidates have been informed through e-mail on April 29, 2013.

  4. What are the criteria for selection of candidates?

    The candidates will be selected based on their academic qualifications (CGPA, projects etc) and the statement of purpose provided at the time of registration. The decision of the selection committee is final.

  5. Will the selected candidates be provided accommodation?

    A small number of candidates (from outside Bangalore) will be provided accommodation on a first-come-first-served basis. Preference will be given to female candidates. The remaining candidates need to find their own accommodation during the period of the summer school. However some basic pointers to find accommodation near the institute will be provided.

  6. What facilities will the selected candidates entail?

    The selected candidates will be given free wi-fi access within the department. Hence, all the selected candidates are advised to bring their laptops. The selected candidates will be given free lunch on all five days of the summer school.

  7. Will the selected candidates receive a certificate of participation?

    Yes, all the selected candidates who participate in the summer school will receive a certificate of participation.

  8. Is there a registration fee for the summer school?

    No, there are no registration charges/fees for the school.
